Tournaments

The GYSA currently does not operate any soccer tournaments, however there are several local tournaments that we recommend. Please see the posts below for information about these tournaments. We encourage all coaches and players to participate. 

All tournaments are also posted on the GYSA Events Calendar.

Tournament Recommendations

  • 2012 Columbus Day Tournament North Andover The 30th annual North Andover Columbus Day Tournament is scheduled for October 6-8, 2012.  They would love to have YOUR team to be part of this year's fun-filled competition. With over 2,000 players, coaches and spectators, this tournament is a great way for your team to prove its skills against tough, but fair competition. Teams are guaranteed at least three games and will be matched up against similarly skilled teams. Coaches of team that have participated in the past will tell you that we do a good job of seeding the tournament so that your players will be paired off with teams at a comparable level of play.   • MPS Soccerween 2011 When:  Halloween Weekend, Sunday, November 13th 2011 Where: Lancaster, MACost:     $400 per team Site:     Click here for more information and to register Soccerween is an MPS Halloween tournament held in Lancaster, MA- on Sunday November 13th. The tournament started in 2009 and within a year had grown to over 60 teams competitng in the end of the fall season tournament with a emphasis on fun.   • SEACOAST United Labor Day Friendlies Tournament When:  Labor Day Weekend, September 3rd-5th 2011 Where: Epping, NH Cost:     U10=$275, U12=$375, U14=$425 Site:     Click here for more information and to register This tournament is designed for U9 through U14 boys and girls teams of all ability levels.  We will offer U9 & U10 (6v6), U11 & U12 (8v8), and U13 & U14 (11v11).  Teams will be placed in appropriate groups and receive 3 games.  This is designed to be a preseason event organized to help teams grow and adjust for the upcoming fall season.  Seacoast United is proud to offer such a unique tournament that will give both premier and non-premier players an opportunity to play at a first class facility and test their ability against ...
