Rick Umenhofer, PresidentRick joined the Board in 2009 as our In-Town Director. He also coaches his daughter's and son's teams. In June 2011 he was elected as President, replacing the retiring Brad Shores who served on the board for 7 years. Rick works as an Engagement Manager for VMware's Professional Services Organization.
Shawn Maguire, Vice PresidentShawn is a veteran soccer player himself and has coached his son's and daughter's GYSA teams. After attending several Board meetings as a GYSA member and voicing his opinion about how to improve our programs, he officially joined the Board in 2011 as Vice President. Shawn is also a professional in child development and education as the current Principal of Rockport Elementary School.

Jody Moore, Director of Player & Coach DevelopmentJody was inducted into the Fox Chapel Hall of Fame in 2009: "Jody (Morrow) Moore ’85. Soccer, Swimming. Four year letter winner in both sports. All WPIAL, All State and Regional All-American in soccer. Rochester University soccer, four varsity letters. Member of two National Championship and three conference championship teams." We are lucky to have Jody as our Director of Player Development, SHE KNOWS SOCCER. Off the field Jody is a Hall of Fame Mom too, raising 3 future Hall of Famers.
Mark Sindoni, Director of FieldsMark joined the GYSA Board at the start of 2011, replacing long-time incumbent and legend, Nick Leighton. Mark shares the Registrar position with Mike Trigilio. Mark has been a GYSA coach in our In-Town and now U10 girls programs. He comes to the GYSA with a strong background as a player himself. Mark is a Senior Account Executive at BMC Software.
Sandy Mahoney, Director of CommunicationsSandy joined the Board in 2010 in addition to her work as a soccer coach. Sandy is a certified Youth Fitness Specialist of the IYCA, (International Youth Conditioning Association) and runs KIDitioning, an innovative, mobile FUN conditioning / fitness programs for Kids ages 6-14.
Pete Burns, Director of EquipmentPete makes sure our fields have goals, our goals have nets, and our players have soccer balls to fill the nets with. He's been coordinating the procurement, distribution and (often difficult) collection of soccer equipment for all GYSA teams. Pete works at NOAA (National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration) whose products and services support economic vitality and affect more than one-third of America’s gross domestic product. Sounds important Pete!
Tracy Lasquade, Director of In-Town ProgramsTracy is moved to Georgetown from Saugus 2 years ago and became involved with Georgetown soccer as a U8 girls coach before she was even unpacked (writer's embellishment). For the Spring 2011 season, Tracy brought professional player and team photos to the the GYSA. In June 2011 Tracy was elected to be our In-Town Director. Tracy is a Program Director at InfoMedics, a communications service company in the pharmaceutical industry.
Ted grew up with soccer and continues his love of the sport as a Revolution Season Ticket holder, a GYSA coach, and a player himself. Ted brings to the Board his soccer knowledge and executive business experience. He is the President of OYC Americas, a provider of high-quality biochemical raw materials derived from yeast fermentation technology.
